Also called “the arch of Frederic II” , it is one of the oldest doors of Norman Andria (11 century); it has great historical value since it was through this door that Frederic II and his court were welcomed by the noble families of Andria who swore loyalty to him during the famous rebellions during the sixth Crusade. The arch of Frederic bears the following epigraph: "Fridericus ad Andrianos - Andria fidelis semperaffixa nostris medullis -1230".
