ATTRACTIONS
This city was founded halfway through the Nineteenth Century by Ferdinand II the king of Naples and has a strictly geometric and open-plan layout: the Civic Archaeology Museum (Hypogeum in Terra di Corte) can be found in the town centre and houses a rich collection of material spanning from Neolithic to High Mediaeval ages.  The hypogeum (underground) tombs are of great interest and were discovered in 1989 in Terri di Corte: a location with ritual or cult aspects, underground tombs dug into the limestone, where numerous artefacts, primarily from the Bronze Age, have been discovered. ...
